Error during creation of InfoPackage to load char data

Hi All

I have been stuck at one point.Problem is I have defined InfoPackage and i am giving the path of my CSV file which is located on local server.When ever i am scheduling the job from Schedule Tab , an error is coming "Error 1 when Loading external Data".

Can anyone help me out with this problem.

All suggestions are welcome.

    Hi,

    And also make sure that you have not opened the File while scheduling the Infopackage.

    Hi

    Check the weather it is in client work station or not.

    Error 1 means problem for extr data from flat file.

    Give the file name as CSV and check the escape sign.

    See the preview it is comming or not.

    and no.of header rows to be ignored, this depends on u r file.

    Hi Vinod,

    1.Close all the CSV files (Especially the file which u r loading)when ever u r uploading flatfile

    2.Select load file from local client work station option

    This will surely solve ur problem i think so.
