Alert Issue

Former Member
0 Kudos

My requirement is to send an alert message which is raised in XI to an external ID. ie. email id abc@yahoo.com.

I have defined the Alert Category in SAP GUI and in RWB I have assigned the Alert Rule to it.

I am able to get the alerts into the Alert Inbox. What I am not able to do is sending the alert message to External ID.

1. SCOT Configuration is in Place. In suo1 tcode external mail id is assigned to the recipient.

2. Alert Inbox, personalization link, Time-Independent Delivery is selected and selected Mail check box in Time-Independent Delivery.

Is anything I am missing? Please guide me

Thanks

Shaik

Hi Mohammad,

Go to SCOT.

Click on Menu Utilities->Overview of send orders.

in the new screen which comes enter the filter conditions as per your requirements.

Seconly also try to raise alert using function module ..SALERT_CREATE.CHeck if mail goes...

one more pointer..this one should help you..

THe email id is mentioned in SU01 . Right?

Below the email id field in SU01 theres a Comm. Method select that as blank. As in dont enter anything there..

Did you check if SCOT is in place?

Check ST22 for dumps, maybe some issue with SCOT.
