Unable to connect to BEx (BI) components

Hi

I am getting problems when connecting to BEx components for BI from the front end.

When i try to log in to BEx analyzer/query designer/ etc..., i get the logon screen. but after I enter the details, nothing happens... no error message... nothing...

But I am able to connect to BEx 3.5 components, and run/create queries there.

GUI: I am on SAP GUI patch level 18, and BI addon patch level 13.

Server: BI ABAP: SP 13, BI Java SP 11.

Pls suggest what can be the cause of such error...
