Messages in BI WAD Applications (IP)

Hello All,

In a Planning Application in BI Web Application Designer, is it possible to give a pop-up window for system messages (like general web applications)? Rather than having them on top of the layout (or some other place in the Web Template using the message list item)?

Also, is it possible to filter out the system messages, like '100 charateristic combinations generated' or 'Planning Function <abc> executed without errors'. in the Web Application?

For the system messages, you could use the settings in the WAD (the first item, web template).

I am also having a need for the pop up stuff, but not able to work it out.

I know that option but that is not useful becuase it filters out even the messages which we give in the code using the MESSAGE statement.

I need some option using which I can filter out only system generated messages.

Any more thoughts on this?

Hi....try with coding in the class. You can do such thing using message type....you need an abaper for that...
