Hi guys,
I've configured BEx web for BI7.0 stack 11 and EP7.0 stack 11. When I work with WAD7.0, open a report and execute it, an explorer is opened with the login screen.
As I understood there should be an inverse-user-mapping that the BEx is using.
The diagnostic tool that installed in the portal shwos all green so all the configuration were made. Any idea why the logon screen appears instead of an automatic logon ?
Please advice,
Dimitry Haritonov
I found a statement in note 888687:
Note that logon tickets are used in the area of information broadcasting and Java-based BEx Web Applications. In these scenarios, the user does not need to log on to the Web browser or the SAP GUI twice. A double logon indicates that there is an error in the configuration. There are some exceptions to this rule, which render another logon necessary:
When you call a BEx Web Application or the Broadcaster from a BEx tool, such as the BEx Web Application Designer.
...

Does this mean that BW guys that work with WAD, have to logon to portal
each time a report is executed ?
Please advice,
Dimitry Haritonov
