Portal Theme for VC applications

Hi,

I am running my portal on NW2004s SP11. We upgrading from Sp10 to Sp11 specifically for the feature where the Visual composer elements can be customized using the portal themes. I have done the changes in the theme for the VC application and also deployed the VC application after enabling the "use portal theme" option in the tools when deploying the application. I can see that the colors of the VC elements has changed (different from the standard,it is taking the standard theme colors) but the colors which I have saved in the theme does not seem to take effect.

Has anyone tried using the theme feature for changing the colors of their VC applications and been successful please let me know. I would like to know if I am missing something somewhere.

Hello Aamod,

Is your theme selected?

Please do the following (after you have saved your theme):

1. In the portal: System administration -> Portal display -> Desktop & display rules (under detailed navigation) -> Portal content (under browse) -> Portal users -> Standard portal users, open "Default portal desktop".

Browse to your theme, right-click and add it and set it as default.

Yes the Theme is selected and also set as default. In fact the theme is the only theme in the portal desktop. Have you tried to change the colors of the VC application elements?
