IT0077 Additional Personal Data - Help required

In IT0077 there are 3 different fields -

Ethinic Origin

Ethinicity(New)

and the Race Data (Race Category)

Where as the drop down values in all these three fields are same .e.g. Asian, etc

So which one we should maintain for AAP and EEO report or what is the differnce between maintaining these 3 different fields

I will really appreciate your help.

Suman

If you are using the SAP delivered EEO report, you will need to maintain the Ethnicity(New) field and the race categories (when the Ethnicity is Not Hispanic/Latino).

In your example, if your employee is Asian, your Ethnicity(new) would be "Not Hispanic/Latino" and your race would be "Asian".

No. We are unable to use the standard report delivered by SAP. The SAP report only has one page of totals. We have to report to the EEOC by location - of which we have many throughout the United States. So, I am modifying a custom report that we wrote quite a few years ago with the new races. I am reading the job category from the job as well.

      Hope that helps you.

    Hi Mary and Others,

SAP has now issued a new note 1054679-EEO-1 Report Output in detailed paper format. Application of the Support Pack will allow you to create the detailed report by location that you were able to produce previously. The initial Support Pack update did not allow this as the EEOC requirement is that the report be submitted electronically. See also note 976273 - Modified EEO-1 reporting requirements as of 9/30/07 for further details.

One problem with using the new codes, is that the other reports for AAP, etc. still use the old codes. Thus, you may not want to hide these. I would maintain both until all reports are brought on line with the new codes.

      Hi,

We are using 4.6c and i have added ethnic categories manually. Then I tried to use RPURACU0 PROGRAM TO CONVERT old ethnic categories in new categories. I ran program successfully for most of employees. No error . But when I go back to employee master data i don't see new ethnic category in info type 77. Any idea? I know i am missing some thing no idea what it is ? Please reply thanks,
