Incorrect Derivations of Product Hierarchy

Hi,

At 01/05/2007 we created (Transaction KES1) a new Characteristic Value

(T2500_WWAN) in the Master Date of Profitability Analysis (WWAN=4).

We changed (Transaction KEDR) the derivations of product hierarchies

00005, 00006 e 00008 to the new Characteristic Value, (from 1 to 4).

However, today, when we made the actual settlement of sales and

production orders (Order/proj.settlemnt - RecordType=C) containing

materials from these hierarchies, we noticed two different behaviours:

one group derivate correctly (for characteristic 4), and the other

derivate incorrectly (for the previous characteristic 1).

All incorrect documents are coming from sales, production or purchase orders which were created before the change of 01/05/2007. Could it be this, the

cause of the problem?

Our goal is that all registered costs or incomes after 01/05/2007,

respect the new established rules regardless the date of the order

creation.

Could someone give us any idea to solve this problem?

Thanks

    Hi,

I hope, your are right because the sales, production or purchase orders which were created before the change of 01/05/2007.

Use KE24 to analyse the actual line items.

    Regards,

      Hi Murali,

I just already solved this problem. The solution was: KEDR->Edit->Chose-> Definition->Target Fields->Details-> Overwrite with new value even this new value is initial.

However, thanks very much for your attention.

If you can, please help me with my another problem: "Differences between the CO operational results and FI"

      Best regards,

      Mary Jane
