Org assignment maintenance

Dear All,

1) When i try maintaining organization assignment for entering cost centres for employee (a test pyroll has benn run) ,i am getting following error

" Pay area unchangeable for periods for which payroll has run"

2) when i try entering org assignment for a employee (whose PY have not run) for entering cost centre, personnel sub area and payroll area ,

it gives me the following error " Change before earliest retro date 01042007 acc to control rec to PY area D1"

but when i change the payroll area to dummy, it saves the changes.

i want to upload BDC for org assignemnt and basic pay, and abaper is facing problem while uploading it.

Also the <u>cost centre</u> field is disabled with no record.
