Hierarchies collapsing to root level

Any help appreciated.

I am using a hierarchy as a selection variable within a query in BI Ver7. When in the parameters screen I drill down for instance to a level 5 node, choose it and execute the query - all is fine. However when I click the refresh icon to get the parameters screen back and again use the drop down to choose a further node the hierarchy has collapsed back to root level and I have to navigate again to the level 5 node. When using BW Ver3.1 the hierarchy remained in the same place as the previous selection. Can BI Ver7 be set to work in the same way ?

There is no such option now. The hierarchy will behave as you said every time you refresh the query.
