Dear All,

Kindly tell me about the business requirements and how we are mapping with the Business Content in BIW. In SAP we have the different data sources in LO. How we have to anlyse all.

How to search in the Business content sources with the R/3 field. I am not clear about the flow.

Thanks

Sathya

Hi

Business requirements are nothing but the reporting requirements so first you need to analyze their need and the best thing would be first start with any already available reports they are using prior to using BI and if yes then findout the source of that reports and if they are not using any before then you have to findout the source in R/3 and then try to lookinto the standard datasources available in R/3 and if they match your requirement then start looking for the concerned infosource and connected Cube or DSO for that infosource and start building your report if its not available in standard.

This is just a brief lookup of the entire process.

And regarding Lo almost most of the modules are covered in LO try to check in LBWE the available datasources and start analyzing what information each one will provide.

The below given table can tell you whether the field in R/3 is mapped with any of the infosource Infoobjects.

Thanks and regards
