Escalated Leave Work Item doesn't Disappear from Initial Approver

Good day all.

We have a weird question with regards on escalated Leave work item.

In our Leave/Absence workflow, we use escalation management. After certain period the unaction leave work item should move to the next approver.

In the workflow log, we can see that the work item is moved and the new aprover is receiving work item.

The issue is the work item doesn't disappear from Portal Task List's initial approver and when the initial approver execute this undisappear work item, the initiator's leave data is not available.

Can somebody let me know, what we should do to make this work item disappear from Portal Task List initial approver?

We're in SAP ECC 5.0 with EP 6.0

HI sandy,

You need to activate the processing obsolete option in order to get the Workitem deleted from the initial approver's task list.

You can find that in your standard Task's OUTCOMES - Processing Obsolete.

send across ur email id i will send you a few screen shots which will be helpful for you in understanding how to activate processing obsolete optio, anyways if you go into the outcome tab of the activity you will find the option over there to activate processing obsolete action.
