By Passing The Setup in ALE Partner profile

Hi gurus,

Is there a way to bypass the configuration in the partner profile? For example in the outbound IDoc configuration I chose the Trigger Immediately Button but sometimes iwant the IDoc to just be COLLECTED without changing the partner profile setup.

    Hi Andre,

No it is not possible :).

It is based on the partner profile setup only.

    Hi Atish,

Thanks for the quick reply. Even in the ABAP code it is not possible?

I see. When an IDoc is dispatch immediately using a TRFC Port (The RFC destination is a TCP/IP), does it always have the status of IDoc passed to an R/3 or an external system even if the R/3 or external system is down?

      Hi Andre,

It depends. There may be chance that the IDOC's are stuck up in the outbound queue because of the system is down. The success message is mostly depends if they can move upto the stage of Outbound queue.

      Regards,

      Atish
