hi
can anybody tell me what is actually crm middle ware means?
i have small idea that it is a link between crm and r/3. if yes plz provide me some configuration material how to do it, that will be vey useful for me.
and here i have a doubt i.e usually we hear that in netweaver there is a component called xi which will take care of communication between two sap applications. so can we use that xi module in our case that is as middleware between crm and r/3 .
plz provide me the configuration material , atleast provide me the links, i will start working from those links

Inbrief, CRM middleware is a integration tool to exchange data with SAP or NON-SAP system using SAP adaptors or XIF adaptors respectively.
Adaptors are the middleware objects which will exchange data to and fro with CRM system and the other system.
