BI 7.0 Issues after upgrade - Excluding selection in BeX analyzer

The client has migrated from BW3.5 to NW2004s on Dev.

When we select a char and do a exclude selection on the Bex Analyser and click Ok.It pops up the below error message -

Abort Inconsistent input parameter (parameter:<unknown>,value,unknown>)

Error BRAIN 289

Error Error reading the data of InfoProvider ZEQUNR.

But the excluding selection works on the Bw Query designer ,doesnt work when done on BeX analyser.

The front-end been used is SAP GUI 6.40 ,can that be a reason ?

It would be appreciated and points will be assigned if anyone can let me know a fix for the above issue.
