Regarding Extraction

Hi Gurus

i have been working on BW/BI from last two years. Yet i don't know the technical difference involved in HR , FI and LO cockpit Extractions.

HR , FI and LO extractions are of Application Specific Business content extractors.

Please let me know high end business oriented differences for these extractors

In a sense, all extractors are application specific only!!

LO and other extractors differ from the way we extract data; all of them behave alike in BW system.

Lo extractors require some steps before you can start extracting; like you need to fill in the so called set up tables and specificy a specific delta method to pick up delta records.

There are several posting in SDN on LO . Requesy you to go thru them.
