Errors: BEx transport request '' is not available or not suitable - Urgent

Hi Friends

We upgraded the BW system to BI7.Currently testing the BI7 functionality.I am receiving the following error message when open the existing(3.5) query.

"Errors: BEx transport request '' is not available or not suitable"

How can we resolve it?

Is the BI7 system a copy of production or is it the dev box .. what system is it ?

Usually production gets copied onto another system and then technically upgraded to BI7 - here the system / client must be opened failing which you will get this error... since the query is locked by a transport request that was transported upwards from dev and cannot be changed since it is not a native transport request.

go to rsa1, within the transport connection tab there should be a button that shows the transport item and has bex written on it click this and create a bex transport If the problem is with an existing bex transport release/delete this as appropriate

Save the reprot in a new transport request. You dont have to transport now.
