Hello All,
I have a issue here,
We are building a new QA environment and transported all the content from one portal landscape (Dev) to other (QA), Everything is transported with out any issues but I found that <b>some of the Permissions were missing on all the 'Systems'</b> and we have about 40+ Systems
Did any one had this issue before? <b>If so how was that fixed</b>?
Is there <b>a way to add the missing permissions</b> (roles and groups ) to the Systems other than adding them manually one by one?
Appreciate your responses
Thanks,
Kiran

Hello Kiran,
Do a client copy from Dev to QA using profile SAP_USER,this will copy all Authorization Profiles and User Master Records to QA.
Award points accordingly,

Hi Kiran,
Yes client copy is different from reqular transport. if you do client copy using SAP_USER al the Users, user roles and authorization profiles are copied. The client is not reset. For more information go thorugh the below links:

Hi Raju and Bharat,
Thanks for your responses
I have no idea what the note says, and it looks like it is talking about the R3 transports, but from the begining I am talking about Transports on the portal, where when I transported iViews, Worksets, Roles, Systems etc...the permissions set for the Systems were missing
Thanks,
Kiran
