Starting Workflows/Tasks from Messages

Hi all

has anyone worked on the concepts of <b>Starting Workflows or Tasks from Messages</b>

can anyone help me in understanding the flow how to proceed with the messages

hi kannan,

you can use the transaction swuy for trigirring the workflow from messages it opens up a wizard based tool which guides you through the process.

Points are welcome.

Hii,

    To be precise the new workflow is triggerred from the message's long text window toolbar button after doing the steps mentioned above.. see screenshot :-

hai,

go to trans swuy.the wizard will open.

1)under start give countinue then

2)enter messa - it will ask the area and message no.

(under any messages double click it and then select technical information it gives u the area and message no.)

type the area and msg no and then countinue.

3) complete-complte the wizard and save it.

then workflow templete change screen will appear.in basic data tab select workflow builder. it will open workflow builder and then u design ur workflow according to ur requirments.
