JDI - Migration to new server

Former Member

Hi All,

Here is a brief on our existing JDI scenario,

1. SLD in Server1 is the Master SLD in our landscape.

2. JDI installed in Server1 is currently being used for development.

Now, we need to migrate the JDI to new JDI server (Server2).

1. Migration of JDI as prescribed in a SAP Note could not be succeeded.

2. For new JDI in Server2, product and SC were created in the same SLD.

3. CMS domain and DTR track configuration were also done.

4. After importing the configuration in the NWDS and While attempting to create DC project in existing name(s), it did not allow as it points to same SLD.

5. It is necessary to maintain only one SLD in the landscape.

6. In case we use a separate SLD for the Server2 and proceed with creation of existing projects and move contents from old JDI server, is it possible to merge the SLDs?

Could anyone suggest how to resolve this situation and migrate the JDI contents from Server1 to Server2?

Kind regards,

Srinivasan T

all the the way to resolve this is for tracks and system information export the CR and LD from SLD1 ro second SLD server . and according to the note export the DTR code in to the new server and some post processing steps
