Error - Info Object Not found

Former Member

Hi

I was trying to load master data into the Info Object Text (0REC_TYPE_TEXT).

And I got error saying "Record 1 :0REC_TYPE : Data record 1 ('E ') : Duplicate data record"

So I went to RSA3 in R/3 - SAP ERP and tried to extract the records for the Datasource - 0REC_TYPE_TEXT.

There I got an error saying - "InfoObject not found"

Pls. help me in resolving this issue..

What could be the possible causes for this error.

I saw a couple of notes - saying "0REC_TYPE_TEXT" does not return data if your source system is a unicode installation. But I am not sure what my source system installation is.

Pls. help

Thanks In Advance

Hi PPMM,

First check the mappings in Text infosource.

you must not have mapped your 0REC_TYPE in transfer rules - it is key for text table. make 1-1 mapping for this key. you will not get the error.

If you set the Flag in the scheduler to ignore duplicate records then you should be able to load records with the same keys but different texts, attributes etc.

Infopackage > Processing > check Ignore double Data records.

Thanks,

Sudhakar

Hi

Actually I am working in BI 7 and there by default we have "DataSource Transfers NO Duplicate Data Records"

Theres no option of unchecking it.

I found the solution. I had to apply some SAP note. Thanks neways for the responses.

Can you tell me what the SAP Note was please? I am also working with NW2004s and have this problem for 0INSP_CHAR_TEXT.

Thanks a heap!

Hi t

I applied the note - 944399.

However, you can see I have marked Sudhakar's ans as "Solved Problem".

So pls use that ans.

Hope it helps

try retransferring your infosource from RSA5. normally this should put your object back up to date and have it working. if necessary you have to remap in bw

Try loading with the Ignore duplicate records option in the infopackage, you will find it under the processing tab in the infopackage.
