Hi experts,
i'd like to know the standard behavior of R/3 regarding the material consumption.
In material master record i can insert which is the "period code" useful to calculate the period of material consumption.
In particular, i can choose:
- "T" value : daily calculation
- "M" value: monthly calculation
Every time a material has been used (transaction mb1a - mov. type 261), R/3 makes an entry in MVER table indicating the period of consumption based on registration date.
In MVER, when the "period code" of material is set to "M", we can find the total quantity in the right period column (for example, registration date 04.06.07, MVER-GSV06 as a 06 monthly period).
What we can't understand is the logical attribution when the "period code" of a material is set to "T" value. Does eanyone know how and why R/3 handle consumption in this case?
Where and why have we to expect the consumption if we have registration date 04.06.07 and "period code" as "T" value?
Thanks in advance,
Christian
