what acoount group heirarchy assignment

i ve created an customer acoount group

so is it necessary to assign it to to pricing procedure sales order type,sales area

if i ve to assign then wer in heirarchy or else wer

so if heirachy then wat is this function

what is the importance of this and wat is the benifit i ll get from assigning heirarchy.

Not necessary to assingn order type to pricing procedure but we have to assign to sales area .

We have to assign hierarchy to partner function in partner determination

i think account groups will not assign to sale doc types, pricing procedure and sales area..

customer heriarchy is useful, when a customer spread is there in lot of places... we need to assign heriarchy... benifits like in pricing you can give on one customer will applicable to all... major beneifit is pricing.....
