Reg: NWDS

Hello All,

WHen I'm trying to open the NWDS I'm getting a message saying :-

<b>" Problems during start-up . Check the ".log file" in the ".metadata" directory of your workspace "</b>

I checked the .log file . It says :-

" !ENTRY com.tssap.util 4 0 May 31, 2007 18:12:30.603
!MESSAGE May 31, 2007 6:12:30 PM      com.sap.ide.webdynpro.archivebuilder.ActionDeployPAR     [Thread[main,5,main]] Error: Deployment of archive file already running :Welcome.ear "

Could some one help me in resolving this issue ?

Hi deepu,

First Close your NWDS.

1) Take a backup of your projects from the workspace and delete the .metadata folder from the workspace.

2) Then open the NDS, a new .metadata folder will be created and now you can try opening the NWDS it will open without error

3)Sometimes when your metadata of the NWDS is corrupted then your NWDS will not function properly.

Thanks for the response.

I did the same as per ur steps.

Now hwen I try to open the NWDS again it's still showing me the same message.

I think there must be some refresh of NWDS.

Can u tell me how to refresh the NWDS ?

I restarted my sytem and now I'm able to open the NWDS.

Hi,

Please delete all the folders from MMR CACHE folder. You can find the MMR CACHE folder from a path like "C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Local Settings\Temp\MMRCache"

It may resolve your problem.

delete the .log file or delete .metadat folder and restart the IDE.

or

try to change the workspace and open it
