Hi to everyone!
I'm installing SAP GUI 710 in my company here in Brazil and i have a question:
Can i install the client on a server, share the folder and access it on the computers of my network? Just for more details, i don't want to install sap gui on all the client computers, juts install it on a server and copy a shortcut to my desktop.
i have tryed this, but i had a lot of DLL errors. I solve most of them, but i'm stucked here.
Coud you help me?
Thank's a lot!
Marcos Urbano.
Thanks a log for your answer Frank, but i have already tryed the sap gui for java/html. The problem is that my company will not use them...
They said that the sap gui for java/html doesn't have direct support for MS Word, Excel, etc...documents in Solution Manager...
So i still need to use sap gui for Windows. I have talked with a guy from SAP and he said that this function that i need worked in erlier versions of sap gui, but he doesn't know how it works now....
So, i'm waiting..
Thanks again!
Marcos.

Hello Marcos,
as far as I know it isn't possible. We installed our gui's with SMS distribution services and terminal server. Perhaps you can use SAPGUI for Java or HTML.
