"Lock Not Set" Error

I deleted the master data in Infoobject 0REGION_TEXT and wheni tried to reload the data i fot the following error: Lock NOt set for:Loading texts.

Can you please help me in resolving this issue? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

either

- your deletion job wasn't finished

- your master data is not active

- somebody is maintaining texts or another load is happening

or some process is locking your IObj....

try activating master data and let us know

Hi Paul,

When ever two mater data objects try to access the attribute change run programm , lock not set error will come.

when the attr/change run is running..the MD tables of the involved characteristics..get locked..

so when data load runs when this run is occuring..it will find the tables locked..and so will fail..mostly..solution..is to check if attr change run is in progress..if yes..wait til it completes and then run the failed load again..
