Red light in ID Peticion

Hy Experts,

I have a daily delta load on an infocube. On monday 28, the load failed and it has a red status. After, days 29 until now, the load was ok and the status green.

what happened in this situation? The next (green) load recover the data not loaded in the red load? Are all data acctuallizated or need I do any repair action?

    HI SSap,

    Since it is a delta load that failed on 28th the next load will not go green untill you repeat the delta load that failed. Since you have all green the next day someone must have already repeated it and load would have recoverd the data not loaded in the red . So you don't have to do any repair now .

    • Hi,

      It is not good idea any time to change manually status to green for delta loads. If you do that you will loose the data in delta queue.

      Normal procedure is if a delta data load fails you have to manually change the status to red in monitor by clicking the traffic light . Then delete the request from data target and schedule the data load again. In this case system will give a message that do you want to repeat data load and you just say yes. This will bring data from failed request.

      You can not go back and repeat delta load for a particular date.

      In your case do you have data in the green requests after 28th?

      If not schedule a data load immediate and see if everything is OK..

    Hi,

    is that failed request still posted to the cube? If yes, all other requests will not be available for reporting and so you will see only data from before 28th. You need to identify the error and correct it and reload that request.

    Hi SSap,

    To answer your question straight, the data with status red is not loaded into the cube. The next delta though with status green did not bring the previous records in the data packet which is in Red.

    To correct your problem, follow the steps mentioned by Jaya.

    Once the repaired request has status green, that request and the requests after that will be available for reporting.

      I have a red light, and after this four green light. Each load was automaticaly, then I dont see the prompt message asking for the option 'repeat' or 'reload'. At this moment the option 'repeat' or 'full repair request' are not avalaible.

      What must I do? Is neccessary delete the red Id and after made a delta load again in order to capture this lost data?
