Results Values displyed as Stars in the out put Cell

Hi Gurus. I have one question for you.

After execution of my query, in the results columns the values are displayed as Stars () instead of values.But when we place the cursor on the particular cell (Star ()),The values are displaying in the formula bar of the excel sheet.

How can I get the direct values in the results area?

What I need to do?

Hi,

It is normal issue . We get * if the result is summation of records which have different Units. DO Use NODIM funciton in the Query in another column by taking your KF as operand.

Yes, I have applied the NODIM & NDIV functions as well. But still it's giving the same, I guess the about functions will be used when we will get the values of "X".

Can I use any other functions to solve this issue?

I think the definition is correct at query level; we can deliver the same to the user.

Please suggest me, if wrong.

You should be getting the * when trying to calculate something thru a formula. In this scenario NODIM wouldnt work. If you can give us more details abt the KF's you are trying to calculate, like the unit, currency etc we might be of some help.

Did you apply NODIM() to the individual KF that you are using in your formula?
