I'm using SRM MDM Catalog and I want to configure <b>External Catalog</b> - Punchout - (Display de supplier's catalogs in my system by URL in the Catalog - choose the item e put in my shopping cart (description). Somebody have some documentation/information about how can I do this? Thanks.
Is the SRM MDM Catalog itself considered a punchout since we are "calling" out to it via call structure only?
I am trying to configure MDM catalog right now with SRM 6.0 and have call structure created but keep getting error saying "Error branching out to catalog. inform system administrator".
Can you confirm if this may be caused b/s the MDM catalog has not been successfully imported from MDM Import Manager yet or is it caused by something else?
1) Go to IMG configuration -> SRM Server-> Technical Basic Settings -> Maintain Portal Information.
There should be an entry called "PCD Location for Catalog (for OCI)" having the correct value refferring to the location of the iview.
2) Please check your web services setting for the Catalog. When using SRM 6.0, configure only the standard call structure . There should not be any special characters in web service id and all other values should be correct.
To determine if there is an issue with Catalog or Portal, try to open the catalog in the ITS. If it works fine then there are chances that the portal configuration is not correct.
