CAF GP and MessageManager

Hello,

I'm developing a web dynpro component with CAF GP interface as Callable Object. All is running fine, I can design a process with my component and run it and the web dynpro ui is shown correctly. But I'm not able to create Messages using the MessageManager api.

In my Init method i get an instace of the MessageManager by the follwing line of code:

mm = wdThis.wdGetAPI().getComponent().getMessageManager();

when I try to show a message through mm.reportSuccess("TESTEST");

nothing is displayed. If I test my callable object in designtime all Messages created through MessageManager are displayed.

Can anyone give me a hint?

The message are only not displayed when the GP Process is started.

What I'm doing wrong ?

    Hi,

    While running GP process the messages are displayed at the top left corner of the screen unlike bottom left corner while running the standalone web dynpro application.

    Thanks,

    Dipankar

    Is there a way using a message Area where the Messages can be displayed ? The upper left corner looks very ugly.
