format of date

hi all,

I developed an Excise Invoice in Smartforms in SD........It is working fine.but i had a problem regarding date format.when i am having a print for Indian Invoices the date is coming correctly.............but when I am going for foreign Invoices the date in the foreign format is being printed.I want that date to be converted into the Indian date format and to be printed.............Could anyone help me out in this...........is there any function module........?

    Hi,

    Check wheteher INDIA exeist in table T005X databse table.

    if so then you can use the follwoing statement:

    SET COUNTRY t005x_wa-land.

    it willset all the formats to INDIA and it will display the date in the country's format.

    Revert back if any issues.

    Hi,

    The best way is to spilt the date and concatenate separated by. or /
