Dear All,

Ist Problem

1.Is their any posibility of gate entry in SAP? The problem is my client want a gate entry of any material (not GRN ) after that it will go to store for GRN

2nd Problem

2. Exit of material for any reason: If any material (without an invoice) is required to go out for any reason a gate pass is made from the system. The details entered in the screen are as follows :

1. Party’s name

2. Item description

3. Quantity

4. Return date if any

5. Reason for the material being sent out.

6. Name of the person who is preparing the gate pass

7. Name of the person who is to authorize removal of such goods from plant premises.

The hard copy is printed and then signed by the person who prepares and who authorizes.

Hi Anamika,

This is most common requirement from the client. You need to develop a program for mainting Z table with all the data and taking print out.

Z table may includes Vendor number, Material number, Qty, Sent data, Received date, received qty.

Develp a print form to take the print-out when passing through your gate and when recieve back.

1. Try using inbound delivery feature for gate entry in.

2. For outbound w/o PO either explore LECI or need to develop Z screens with Z tables

Hi

For Gate Entry you can have a user exit. Once a gate entry is done it can go to stores for GRN which can be created using the Gate Entry Ref.

You can also do MIGO at gate using Mvt. 103. Once the material is inwarded to store and after pfysical verification a 105 Mvt. can be done.

For Gate pass entry.

1)Recieve the Goods in Gate MIGO 103 movement type,Here there is no accounting Entry.Simultaneasly after recieving the goods create one print out,

In Migo Screen itself Enter Vehicle number so in Out put Full detail

a)Vehicle number

b)Vendor

c)Material Number

d)quantity

e)Time of Entry

2)W.R.T this challan Vehicle moved to inside

3)After showing this Challan to Store Person recieve the goods through 105 movement type (here Accounting Entry created)

Pls explain me while doing MIGO, What option shall I chose i.e, good receipt against PO or good receipt againt inbound delivery and where to maintain truck no or any transportation data as u suggested.

Hi

1. Give confimation control key in PO - 0004

2. After u have given confirmation control key system will not all to make GR

3. U have to do VL31N - Inbound delivery. U have give vehicle no. etc in header text fields

4. Based on inbound delivery - u have to GR
