Seeburger Adapters

Hi All,

I have to inteface EDI subsystems with XI , that means i need to convert EDI format to XML format and vice-versa.Do we need to install all SEEBURGER adapters or we can just configure some modules of seeburger?

Which one of the options given above is preferable and why?

and how we can configure these adapters in our SLD?

Please also comment on the performance issue in both cases?

Please help in above issues.

Seeburger EDI Adapter leverages SAP XI's Adapter Framework. This Adapter is used to perform conversion between EDI and XML format. It also provides some canned EDI layouts and the ability to build your own. It is used to transfer the EDI message via HTTP or AS2 protocols.

Hi Krishnamoorthy,

I have alraedy gone through these threads before this but i did not get any clear idea ,how to move forward to configure the scenario.For this , i need to decide the configuration of EDI translator, thats why i am asking which one is preferable whether it is seeburger adapter or its modules or SAP conversion Agent by looking in terms of performance issues . As i have not used it before , i have no idea which is better but read somewhere that

"<i><b>instead of using See burger adapter , you can use File adapter with seeburger modules can be used in File adapter module configuration."</b></i>

So i am confused what to follow & what to do?

Please suggest.
