I am having an issue with an account being open item managed. Can we have an account Open item managed after a posting is done to that account (with the effect of Open item managed taking place in effect for the postings already done previously to that account)?.
Make the GL balences "0" , block the GL from posting. Then run a program "RFSEPA01" and remove the block check open item management checkbox, repost the balences.
If it helps assingn the points by the way of thanks.
Regards,
NSB

Hi,
Until SAP version 4.0B, there was a SAP standard program RFSEPA03 for converting an account into open item managed account after posting transaction data. This is discontinued from 4.6C version. However, this program can be converted into Z program and execute it. You can also refer to OSS note 175960.
Thanks
Murali.

I believe you can. Check OSS note 606977 - Change open item management despite of postings
