Appraisal report

Experts,

Hope all doing well. We have BW report Appraisal markings by grade.

When I run this report ,executes in 2 min time. But when I drill down by Appraisee employee from free char , It takes very very long time to execute this report.

Users need to drill down by Appraisee employee.

Please advice why It is happening. Is there any way to run this report with in reasonable time with Appraisee employee information in the report.

hi Kiran,

try to check and change the 'read mode' in RSRT, give query name, click 'properties'.

are you running the query in bex analyzer or web ? from ods/cube ?

how many records in the master data employee ?

if employee master data is very big, and it's cube, you may need to remodel the infoprovider, put employee as line item and own dimension,

if ods, consult with your dba/basis to try create index on that ods
