urgent help required on triggering the workflow

Hi All ,

I am configuring workflow in the new ECC 6 for the first time . I have created the business object and associated a event . I have created a template and assigned agent and am try to trigger the event by se37 thorugh a FM SWE_EVENT_CREATE .

but althought the EVent id is generated I am not able to see the workitem ...

the event is not getting triggered what else I have to do any config more

Hi,

Please do the following steps.

1) Check event is implemented in Business object and BO is generated

2) On your workflow template at start events use Supertype Object (not subtype object where you created the event) and event of the object

3) Click on the Properties of Event linkage. check Event Linkage check box is activated and linkage status as No errors and error feedback as 3 Dont Change Linkage

4) Check your bindings Evtobject is linked to your Supertype business object container used in your template

5) after you do the steps 2 to 4 check on tcode swetypv (event type linkage transaction) a entry is made with your supertype bo , event and workflow template (receive type).if not make a entry with fm SWW_WI_CREATE_VIA_EVENT

6) if you are using user status to trigger the events, add that in tcode bsvw at customer settings with your BO and events and also add User status at Status restrictions.

Did you check the parameter START_RECFB_SYNCHRON in the function module to 'X' ?

Hi Abhilash,

Instead, try using SWUE txn to trigger the event and see if the workflow gets triggered properly.
