New field mapping.

Hi gurus,

If i want to map some additional data to SAP sales order through EDI how can we create new fields in VBAK,VBAP tables?

Please let me know the procedure or alternatives .

Hi.,

Go to SE11,There is option <i><b>Append structures</b></i>,Here you can insert your own customized fields & later on in User exits you can insert the data in this fields while saving the sales order

Hi Madhu sudhan & manam narayana,

I think this is an configuration of EDI through <b>Idoc</b>.so if they want extra fields to be added, IDOC structure has to be appended with some Yor Z fields.

The above is valid when you exvhange data with other SAP/non-SAPSystem,
