Table option not appearing under Webitems

Hi frds,

I am unable to see 'Table' option under webitems-->standard tab in web application designer so that i am unable to browse the bex query

we r using BI7.0 (first time im opening web appl designer)

is there any settings we hav to perform

hi Sha,

'table' item in bi 7.0 has been changed to 'analysis..'

check detail changes in

Analysis

The Analysis Web item essentially corresponds to the Table Web item in SAP NetWeaver ’04 and earlier SAP BW Releases. One particular new feature is the Drag&Drop function within the Analysis Web item to change the navigational state of the query view. There is also a new option to display sort symbols for simple lists to change the way the data is sorted. To support planning, an input mode is available.

Hi AHP,

thanks for ur response..

i dragged 'analysis' ti righside and selected query..

when i execute that query i am geting below error

Mess name RSBOLAP 017

Java Comm Error:RFC Destination Not_configured does not exist.

Diagnosis

An error occurred during communication with the BI components on the SAP J2EE Engine.

Hi Sha,

Java error means you have to contact ur basis team and ask them to configure for web reporting.

Hi sha,

In wad7.0 analysis web item is used to display report.

It is under standard web items.

Drag and drop analysis web item and assign one data provider to ur analysis web item and save and execute.

Default settings for web items can be changed under web item parameter tab in left side of WAD window
