Dear all,

I set up

SAP S/4 HANA, on-premise edition 1610 FPS01

and I tried to connect to the system instance.

It seems, that this system is only accessible via SAP Logon. That means, it seems, that you need a SAP Log on Installation on your computer to connect with the instance.

I know from other solutions, that CAL provides a Remote Desktop connection to a server, which comes with a SAP GUI installation.

Does anybody know, how I can connect to the solution without a local SAP GUI installation?

Hello Birgit,

The solution "SAP S/4 HANA, on-premise edition 1610 FPS01" is a clean installation of S/4HANA. Instead you could instantiate the solution "SAP S/4HANA 1610 FPS01, Fully-Activated Appliance" that comes with best practices and a Windows frontend on top.
