Set up Plant in India with US Company code

Hi MM Gurus,

I am in the process of setting up new SAP plant in india linked to US company code. When I enter the address information, there isn't any regions in selection screen under country IN. Why is that? Also, is there any other things I should be looking into while setting this Plant. I have successfully setup many SAP Plants with US address, but its the first time I am doing for country IN.

Suri,

If you have copied the plant from one of your US plant , it must have taken the country key as "US" so go and try changing the Country Key to "IN" for India

Thanks for the reply.. Yes, I copied from an US plant, but when I change the country to IN , it will accept it, but when I want to input region code for Country IN, the pop up windows comes out empty.

Hello Suri,

You need to define region code for country IN in the following path:

SPRO --> General Settings --> Set countries --> Insert Regions
