Performing HANA Disaster recovery in 3 tier (simulation test)

Hello Guys ,

We have a 3 tier HANA DR setup. Host1 and Host2 are in the same data center (SiteA) and it is has HA setup with sync mode.

SiteB the another datacenter which has Host3 connected to Host2 with Async mode.

We are planning to simulate that SiteA is completely gone and we need to start the app server on Host3. I have read multiple blogs and clear about performing the steps.

ie unregistering Host3 this as secondary. SO that Host3 sstem can come up as independent system. then starting the app server on it.

Now the point where i am not clear is, once the simulation test is over i need to make it back as secondary which i can do it by registering the system as secondary. Once this is done, whether the replication will occur automatically or i need to restore the database from primary system backup. ? Kindly suggest me on this.
