GST- HSN Codes?

Team,

We have to maintain HSN codes against material codes is my understanding after GST implementation.

But i read that different suppliers need to give either 2 digit or 4 or digit or no HSN code based on their turn over.

But how can we maintain that in material master.

Also One mat code with multiple HSN codes will it be possible?

Also how can we maintain the master of all HSN codes ?

Please help.

HSN Code mean Harmonized System of Nomenclature (HSN) code, applied to various goods all over the world to with a 6-digit number. This HSN Code classifieds goods are accepted all over the world, nearly 5000+ goods are classified with HSN Code.

Dear Mandan,

For Each Material code will be having only one HSN Code, it will not possible for one mat code will not be having multiple HSN Code.

Also how can we maintain the master of all HSN codes ?

In addition to Manoj-You can Have more than one Control Code for a single material based on Plant,IE a material can have only one Control code per plant(if the same material lies in other plant can have one more control code)
