Hi!

I have one question regarding the content studio of Hybris.

How is it possible, to add custom modules in the toolbox?

I want give my marketing team more defined design modules, to build a email with less effort.

I'm hppy about your help.

Hi,

the available block types in the toolbox of the email editor are representing the different integration scenarios (product, offer etc.).
It is strongly not recommended by SAP to enhance with additional, customer specific block types in an on premise system.
In a cloud system it is not possible to add customer specific block types.
Not only the UI but also campaign execution and link tracking would be affected by such changes.

Good news is, that SAP will soon deliver the so called “Reusable Blocks” (occurring in the toolbox) to reduce the effort in the email maintenance.

I think, reusable blocks are the thing, which I searching for.

What you think, in which version it's in the release?

So, it's possible but not recommended, I understood. But how is it possible?

Hi Christian,

the functionality of Reusable Blocks will hopefully be available with the next 1708 release. Regarding enhancement of the toolbox I cannot give you any advice.

thanks for your answer. When you can say, that Reusable blocks is part of release 1708 / 1709.

You know the reasoons for the delay in release time?

As I mentioned, in the toolbox we have the standard modules text, offer, product and product recomm. I thnik it's in all Hybris systems the same. It's possible to add them via drag&drop to the template.

My questions is, how can I build additional pre-configured blocks, like text, offer, product, which are in the company CI and easy to handle in the same way. For example, I want create a pre-configure block für 2-column block with image.

My marketeer should have the possibility to choose from the toolbox more than the pre-configure blocks to create a template, without export-import HTML.

Is it possible?
