Communication/Print in VX99

Hello Experts -

I am in process of Configuring Export Documents using Foreign trade in SAP. We are also providing user an additional flexibility to change the form values before printing export documents through VX99. When we change the Form values and refresh ,it changes the value successfully on form and before printing , it gave me an option to print the modified version or Standard Version.

Issue - Once i print the form or come out of transaction VX99,we are loosing all the changes /modified values.Just wanted to check , if it is a standard SAP behavior or i am missing some configuration or SAP Note to retain the Change values on SAP Form.

Please advice !!!

We don't use this transaction but I clicked around and don't see any "additional flexibility to change the form values before printing" there. So I'm guessing it's something custom. You might want to clarify what this functionality is exactly.
