Activity Type

Hi Gurus,

While creating Production Order, am getting an error message as " <b>no control record for Activity Type"</b>.

Please advice this is urgent..

Hi pradeep

1. check the workcenter costing view for the costcenter and the activity types.

2. for the same cost center and the corresponding activity types check in KP26 for price planning.

3. if all ok try CK11N std cost estimate if you get the costing results then everything is fine now your issue is solved

Hi Pradeep,

This is because the cost centers in work center are not linked with activity type.

The cost center and activity type has to be maintained in KP26 transaction

this is generally maintained by FI people

Hi Pradeep

Check whether you have assigned the activity type for the work center you are using

You can assign the activity type for the work center in CR02 under costing tab

also assign the cost center

Then Go to KP26 tcode, there you have to assign the activity type to the cost center
