ODS activation failed. How do I proceed??

Hello to all,

I currently have an issue with activation of ODS. The job for it failed (job -

BI_ ODSA*).

I check on the job log and it stated "Request REQU_45X86E40NSYXZM2X35LH8ESEI(269.743) has not or not correctly been updated; Please edit"

Activation of data records from ODS object WYO_ACDN terminated

Report RSODSACT1 ended with errors.

What correction should I do to proceed. The QM status is green. only the GMS status is red.

Should I reconstruct from PSA? How?

Hi

Goto RSA1 and click on select the ODS and right click, click on activate data in ODS.

Then activate the particular request in another words start the request.

It will automatically activate or

From manage tab togo particular request and activate the request which is showing green

from source system has the status @08@ (green) and a

smaller SID (is thus older) than the request that you currently want t

update into the ODS object.

System response

This is not possible since the sequence of the requests must be kept

when wanting to update them into an ODS object. Delta- and init.

requests must be updated into the ODS in the request sequence.

Procedure

First update request REQU_45X86E40NSYXZM2X35LH8ESEI (269.743 ) for

DataSource from source system from the PSA into ODS

object.

After activating all requests in the ODS, result - job cancelled again.

How do I reconstruct data from PSA to ODS...? thanks I think this is the only solution possible.

hello,

the reason is because Request ID 269.743 has not been loaded to the ODS.

go to PSA - right click - and "start update immediately" of the 269.743.

You can now activate it in the ODS.
