I keep getting this error message when opening Dashboard Designer
Unhandled exception at 0x013b6cdc in Xcelsius.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x000004ec.

Sounds like an access issue on the machine; try logging on with Windows admin rights to see if it fixes it
