Hi Experts,

I would like to build a File to Soap scenario, i.e we will have a file in FTP server and we need to post that file to web service.( AsyncSync scenario). I tied AsyncSync bridge with both sender and receiver modules, it's not working . if receiver side SOAP then what are the module parameters? could you please explain steps to do File to SOAP scenario.

Thanks

Praveen

Praveen,

You may use this blog as reference , don't forget to check the comment section there are some interesting cases which even you may face:

Hi Manoj ,

Thank you, I have referred same document to build the scenario. I have few doubts to get clarified. mine is File to SOAP, I would like to understand service interfaces and their modes. I have created two integrated configuration.

I have to post a file to web service and then response should be captured as a file and save it in a folder.

in the first scenario.

1 .Service interface ( outbound A sync ) to Service interface ( Inbound sync )

In second scenario

1 .Service interface ( outbound A sync ) to Service interface ( Inbound A sync )

Is this correct approach Manoj? I have placed module Config in the first scenario at receiver as explained by William Li. and also we are using PI 7.31 dual stack, which adapter required in 2nd

second scenario

sender?

Thank you

Hi Manoj, Thank you , I have tried the scenario, it's working fine. in the same secenario, I would like to add attachment at Soap axis receiver channel. I have tried payload swap bean but it doesn't work. My scenario is File to SOAP.

what ever the file they placed that file should be attached at receiver with same name. Could you please help on this?

Thank you very much

Praveen,

To make the incoming payload as attachment you need to go for java mapping you need to implement OutPutAttachment in this case.
