Dear All

I had given base unit of measure in basic data view as "EA" each. And maintain alternative units for "KG" and "Case".

1) When I am maintain alternative units, while giving conversion of 1 Ton = 100,000Ea

system is giving error message "the format is to long. Pls Send me solution for this error.

2) In the same case I had maintain alternative units for "KG" and "Case"

when I Check for stock Using Tcode "MMBE" it is showing stock in "EA" which is base unit of measure. Now if i want to see the stock in KG or Case. Is it possible to see stock in alternative units. If possible pls send how can I stock in KG or Case.

Hi Varma,

Addressing your second query, you can select the required UOM in the MMBE transaction in the field Display unit of measure as desired by you so that the stock can be viewed in teh selected UOM.

Dear Varma

1) You can maintain maximum 99,999 in the conversion. So it is possible to have a conversion maximum 1 = 99,999.

If you have a conversion say 100,000 ea = 1 case. Create a UOM as MCE - Milli Case and have this MSE as Base UOM and Case & EA as alternative UOM and maintain as follows

Alt UOM Base UOM

1 case = 100 MCE

1000 EA = 1 MCE

So your total conversion will become 1 Case = 100 MSE

= 100 * 1000 EA

= 10000 EA.

2) In the stock Over view result enter the alternative UOM and press shift+F5 to view the stock in alternative UOM.
