DATE FORMAT issue on DESIGN STUDIO 1.6 (Scorecards)

Hello Everyone,

***SCORECARD/INITIAL VIEW DATE FORMAT ISSUE on DS 1.6***

I started creating my analysis application (Design studio 1.6 dashboard) with Scorecards which displays dates in multiple columns.

I am using Universe (.unx) as the data source and i see the desired date format when i preview my results on the IDT or the query panel on Design studio. But as soon as i create initial view on top of this universe data source all the date formats change from 7/7/2017 to 7/7/17 and all blank cells replaced with 0/0/00

I do know design studio either takes web server locale or browser locale date formats. and our webservers do have 7/7/17 format as of now.

ISSUE 1) Is there any way we can over ride that date format at the application level (either at initial view or at scorecard level)?

ISSUE 2) Is there any way we can leave blank cells as it is rather than filling it with 0/0/00 ( and not sure why we are getting this format. is this dependent on the webserver too ??

Any help will be really appreciated.

I did go through Karol's reply in the above post. Right now I am seeing the web browser's US standard date format (MM/DD/YY). I did find Karol's opensource SAMPLE DATE sdk which i am trying to get it working for my use case.

We are using SAP BO 4.1/SP 7

with reference to ISSUE #2

Is there any way we can change all 0/0/00 date cells to just blank. As you can see the image in my question. all the cells that now have 0/0/00 are supposed to be blank? Isn't it a basic feature we need get along with Scorecard's functionality.?

Since i can not change the blank cells from 0/00/00 to the original Blank cells, is there any way i can hide/change all those 0's at the scorecard level.

Hi Suda,

There is no option in design studio to suppress the date format is like this "0/00/00" ..Only you to modified in the universe level.

In Edit Initial View, below global settings,
